Geometric Girl

Geometric Girl is a hand-painted hanging mobile by Swedish artist and illustrator Maja Sten. Made from Finnboard, the mobile features a playful illustrated figure composed of colourful geometric shapes, bringing movement and character to a space.

Materials & making

Each hanging mobile begins as an original Maja Sten drawing. The individual shapes are laser-cut from Finnboard and then hand-painted by Maja in her studio.

Finnboard is a lightweight Finnish wood-pulp board made from natural wood fibres. It is acid-free, stable and 100% recyclable.

Care

To preserve the colours and materials, avoid hanging the mobile in direct sunlight or prolonged strong UV light.
